In this interactive workshop, renowned educator and author Jay McTighe will address important questions as he explores ideas from the award-winning book Teaching for Deeper Learning: Tools to Engage Students in Meaning Making (ASCD, 2020). What is deeper learning? How should curriculum be framed to promote deeper learning? What kinds of instruction is needed to help students learn deeply? Jay will present a set of practical and proven strategies and associated tools to help educators actively engage students in making meaning.
