Play is the creative process in action. But play is on the decline, so therefore, creativity is on the decline. Play must be built into our everyday practice. In this session, we will unpack the connections between idea generation and play, as well as explore the two primary ways we play. Videos will give us insight into how artists play and how we can borrow from them to make play more commonplace in our classrooms. Finally, we will play.
