Our students may come to school without one item or another on any given day, but the one thing they will always bring with them is their brain. No matter the subject area, education is about helping our students change their brains. The more we know about how the brain learns, the more we can implement effective practices that can have a positive impact on learning. Additionally, the more we know, the more we can impart to our students. This is empowering knowledge for our learners.
