The Ethics of AI in Education: Let’s Game It Out

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The idea of incorporating AI-based tools like LLMs, image generators, and assistive agents immediately invokes big questions of ethics. As with any tool, there is potential for both good and harm, depending on the usage. Come play an AI Ethics ranking game with us as we consider all the angles, including teachers using AI to generate course material, students learning to use AI for research and creative projects, and schools creating policies to protect, limit, or encourage responsible AI experimentation. We'll share our own insights from the last year of using these tools, both personally and in our classrooms, and we'll be actively working with attendees on ideas, policies, tools, and predictions. Come ready to think critically!
