This session will offer participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity while further developing their skills to design learning experiences and programming that facilitate meaningful access points for the variability of learners they work with.

Centered around the voices of people with neurodiversity and/or disabilities, this session will examine the idea of ability and disability as a social construct and how these concepts have evolved from a historical context.

The session will also offer ideas for utilizing the principles of Universal Design (UD) and other practices and tools to serve all students well, including those who identify as neurodiverse and/or disabled.
