The noted psychologist Jean Piaget once stated, “The principal goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done.” The best school systems in the world do this, and do it remarkably well. That makes these schools world-class? This session will explore the key qualities of world-class schools, lessons learned from top-performing national school systems around the globe, and how to apply these qualities and lessons to improve our own schools or districts.
